Universal Health Services' Arbour Hospital in Quincy seeks a Lead Mental Health Associate to join our compassionate treatment team. You will help provide safe, therapeutic care, support patients and families, and contribute to a strong continuum of behavioral health services.

This role requires empathy, crisis awareness, and ability to work with diverse populations; weekend rotation and shift differentials apply, with opportunities for professional growth within UHS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Behavioral health, psychology, or human services study preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in a crisis situation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment.
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors.
• Assist with patient groups and activities.
• Work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs.
• Provide trauma informed and age-specific care.
• Maintain therapeutic boundaries and utilize crisis intervention techniques.
