Arbour Hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA is seeking a Mental Health Associate to join our team for a 32-hour, full-time schedule. You will help provide compassionate care to patients and families across a behavioral health continuum, including inpatient care and aftercare services, while supporting a calm, therapeutic environment.

The role emphasizes listening, teamwork, crisis responsiveness, and engaging with diverse populations.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in crisis situations.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
• Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
• Assist with patient groups and activities
• Work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs
• Provide trauma informed and age-specific care
• Maintain therapeutic boundaries and utilize crisis intervention techniques
