Arbour Hospital in Quincy is seeking a Lead Mental Health Associate to join our compassionate behavioral health team. You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, provide routine patient care, and support groups and activities.

We value empathy, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm in crises. This role requires weekend work on an alternating schedule with evening/night shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred for advancement.
• College students pursuing behavioral health, psychology, or human services preferred.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Impeccable judgment & professionalism.
• Ability to maintain composure in a crisis situation.

Responsabilités

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment.
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors.
• Assist with patient groups and activities.
• Work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet individual needs.
• Provide trauma informed and age-specific care.
