California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) invites applications for the Assistant Director, MSI & Lead for MSC/PSC. This role supports the Men’s Success Initiative and Muslim Student Resource and Puvungna centers, designing programs, mentoring, and partnerships to boost access, retention, and graduation for historically underserved male students and students from Muslim and Indigenous communities.

Reporting to the Director of the Office of Belonging and Inclusion, you will develop

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree with upper or graduate coursework in counseling and guidance, human relations, or related fields and three years of professional experience in one of the student services program areas required.
• Master's degree preferably in student affairs, higher education administration, college student personnel, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• 3 years of professionally related experience working with male students of color preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Men's Success Initiative (MSI) to create, develop, and implement strategies and programming to support male students from traditionally under-served communities.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate programs, services, and activities for the Muslim and Puvugna Student Resource Centers.
• Oversee data collection, assessment, and annual reports.
