Job summary

Juniper Springs Senior Living - Redmond, OR is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to ensure safe medication delivery and support elder residents. You will mentor Care Partners, supervise med storage and distribution, and help align care with Growth and Wellness plans.

You will lead by example, coordinate with leadership on scheduling, and uphold Compass Senior Living policies. This role offers full-time or part-time options and opportunities for growth in a vibrant senior living community.

Qualifications

• Pass medication and assist with self-administration as required by state law.
• Lead and support Care Partners on shift with kindness, accountability, and collaboration.
• Supervise the storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents' medication.
• Maintain continued compliance with Compass Senior Living policies and procedures.
• Participate in interviewing and orientation of new Care Partners and Med Techs.

Responsibilities

• Pass medication and assist with self-administration as required by state law.
• Guide and support the Med Techs on their shift.
• Lead the Care Partners on shift as a role model of kindness, accountability, and collaboration.
• Participate in interviewing new Care Partners and Med Techs as needed.
• Provide the orientation of new Care Partners and Med Techs.
• Provide training and re-training of Care Partners and Med Techs as required by state regulations or as needed to maintain skills.
• Coach team members to be the best they can be in collaboration with the Administrator.
• Work in collaboration with the RCC and Administrator for scheduling.
• Supervise the storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents' medication.
• Maintain continued compliance with the policies and procedures of Compass Senior Living.
