Job summary

CRI-Help is seeking a Lead Medication Nurse in Los Angeles to oversee Medication Nurses and Coordinators, ensure accurate transcription of orders, monitor client self-administration of medications, and document status in the EHR. The role requires RN licensure in California, CIWA/COWS experience, and strong knowledge of SUD care.

Qualifications

• Must understand medication protocols and related care.
• Must be able to conduct CIWA and COWS assessments.
• Must have experience with diverse populations.
• Must document accurately and prepare reports.
• Must have two+ years of clinical nursing experience with supervisory background.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across pre-admission, admission, treatment, and discharge processes.
• Provide medication training and oversight to Nursing staff and Coordinators.
• Receive and transcribe orders into charts; monitor self-administration of medications.
• Observe self-administration per clinician orders; document in EHR.
• Measure vital signs and maintain client documentation and logs.
• Support Nursing Director and participate in performance reviews and scheduling.
