RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Lead Medical Technologist to guide core laboratory operations at Jersey City Medical Center. You will supervise daily workflow, troubleshoot instruments, and ensure timely, high-quality test results.

Strong leadership and collaboration with pathology and nursing teams are essential. The role emphasizes technical expertise, staff development, and adherence to CLIA/CAP standards, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or in a chemical/biological science.
• MLS (ASCP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordinate daily Core Laboratory functions.
• Perform routine to complex testing with accurate patient results.
• Serve as a technical resource for staff and guidance on procedures and troubleshooting.
• Maintain instrument operation, preventive maintenance, and quality control data.
