Job summary

Mercy Rogers is seeking a Lead Medical Technologist to perform a broad range of laboratory tests across Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Bacteriology, Blood Bank, Serology, and Urinalysis. Responsibilities include specimen collection, equipment operation and maintenance, inventory control, quality assurance, and data entry in LIS systems, with a focus on quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in medical technology, laboratory science or chemical, physical or biological science.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests in Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Bacteriology, Blood Bank, Serology, and Urinalysis.
• Collect specimens and operate/maintain laboratory equipment.
• Maintain inventory, quality control, calibration, and workload records.
• Utilize LIS and other computer systems for patient care.
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold Mercy Service Standards.
