Job summary

Southeast Medical Group is seeking a Medical Technician to supervise lab operations, perform routine analyses, and ensure safety and quality controls. The role involves specimen collection, documentation, and LIS/EHR data entry in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, ASCP/AMT certification, and BLS; experience with Vitros/Sysmex is a plus, and OSHA guidelines will be followed throughout daily duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science from an accredited institution.
• ASCP or AMT certification required.
• BLS certification required or available within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency with data entry and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory analyses and specimen collection.
• Support daily quality control checks and equipment maintenance.
• Supervise Laboratory Assistants and ensure CLSI guidelines are followed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and LIS/EHR data entry.
