Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in credentialing databases and MSOW/MSONet.
• Strong knowledge of Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interacts with medical staff and leadership.
• Experience in training staff and supervising Medical Staff Office functions.

Responsibilities

• Verify and post physician privileges and maintain access for physicians, administration, and staff.
• Coordinate credentialing, privileging, and appointment processes for assigned hospitals.
• Prepare agendas, documentation, and minutes for Credentials, Medical Executive, General Staff, and Bylaws Committees.
• Provide monthly updates of credentialing actions to leadership after Board approval.
• Assist in hiring, counseling/evaluation, and disciplinary actions within the Medical Staff Office.
