Job summary

Olympia Orthopaedics in Olympia, WA seeks a Lead Medical Scribe to supervise the Scribe team and assist in daily clinic duties. You will ensure policy compliance, onboard new staff, and guide Scribes in timekeeping, PTO, and scheduling while troubleshooting basic EMR issues.

The role requires prior scribe experience, leadership ability, and strong typing with medical terminology knowledge. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive hourly pay and lead pay bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous Scribe or relevant medical experience preferred.
• Leadership experience and training of new employees.
• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM and strong grammar.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise Scribe staff and daily clinic operations.
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees.
• Maintain timecards, approve PTO requests, and manage staff schedules.
