Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore is seeking a Lead Office Specialist to ensure daily clinical operations run smoothly. You will train new administrative staff and monitor supplies, while ensuring accurate charge entry and timely dictation by physicians.

Collaborating with the Practice Manager on billing corrections, you will help secure timely payments and deliver excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years in healthcare setting with growth and responsibility.
• 5 years in healthcare with supervisory responsibility preferred and knowledge of clinic admin.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical practice operates efficiently daily.
• Train and instruct new administrative staff.
• Maintain adequate department supplies.
• Ensure all charge entry is captured and physicians complete dictation.
• Collaborate with Practice Manager on billing corrections and refile claims.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
