Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Fridley, MN is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist Group Lead to oversee complex test procedures and serve as a technical resource. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with rotational weekends, supporting Lab Supervisor and team.

Qualifications

• Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience as a Medical Technologist within the designated discipline.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide a credential evaluation from IERF. US educated candidates must provide a detailed original transcript.
• Experience as a Medical Technologist at Quest is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all duties of a Medical Technologist I and II.
• Perform and report on assigned analytical tests per SOPs ensuring quality control requirements are met.
• Assist Lab Supervisor and serve as a technical resource for the department.
• Maintain turnaround time and quality control; support workflow and training as needed.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety requirements and respond to inspections.
