Job summary

The role covers moderate and high complexity testing, instrument maintenance, quality control, specimen processing, and workflow coordination. The successful candidate will have a NAACLS‑accredited degree, ASCP certification, and at least three years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science from an NAACLS accredited program.
• ASCP or equivalent certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• Minimum of three years of laboratory experience.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and specimen handling per procedure.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing with accuracy and precision.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments; execute QA/QC procedures.
• Train staff and act as primary operator for at least one instrument.
• Ensure proper documentation, records, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS accredited)

ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification

Bachelor’s degree related to Chemistry/Biology with clinical coursework (non-NAACLS pathway)
