Job summary

Atlantic Mobile Imaging Services, based in Ormond Beach, FL, seeks a driven Lead Dispatch Coordinator to oversee daily operations of mobile imaging teams. You will manage schedules, mentor a dispatch group, and ensure timely patient care with accurate records and proactive issue resolution.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll coordinate with healthcare facilities, drivers, and technologists, optimize routes, and maintain service-level performance while adapting to shifting priorities and on-call

Qualifications

• Experience in medical office, dispatch, logistics coordination, or related field is required.
• Experience in healthcare, medical transport, or mobile imaging services is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to guide and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily dispatch schedules for mobile imaging technologists and equipment
• Monitor Fleet with routine checks and maintenance
• Supervise orders from Providers and monitor assigned orders dispatched to techs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests, facilities, and field staff
• Monitor and optimize routing to ensure timely patient care and service delivery
• Lead and mentor dispatch team members, providing guidance and support during shifts
• Communicate effectively with healthcare facilities, drivers, and technicians to resolve scheduling conflicts
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, service calls, and operational data
• Identify and escalating operational issues, ensuring swift resolution to minimize service disruptions
