Job summary

French Consulting seeks a Lead Medical Case Manager to oversee day-to-day case-management operations for the Aerospace and Operational Medicine Division at Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base.

You’ll carry your own caseload while directing a 15-person team to keep nearly 70,000 Air Force Reservists medically ready, with a schedule of 0800–1600 ET, Monday to Friday, onsite at Robins AFB and limited telework by exception.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management/adjudication in military or civilian medical standards.
• Ability to rapidly learn DoD medical systems (AIMWTS, PEPP, etc.).
• Knowledge of medical standards for retention, flying classes, LD determinations.
• Strong communication with commanders and staff; ability to translate complex medical data.
• Proficiency with PDF software and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1 background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 15-person team; serve as the single point of contact for AFRC support.
• Process aeromedical and non-flying medical cases; update AIMWTS, ECT, PEPP as status changes.
• Review case files from Reserve Medical Units and other services; confirm data completeness.
• Provide QA oversight on case dispositions before Government review.
• Escalate urgent cases and coordinate evaluations with medical services and facilities.
• Notify COR of staffing vacancies and time-to-fill estimates.
• Attend onboarding and weekly transition meetings; coordinate system-access and shadowing schedules.
