Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with 2–3 years of Medical Assisting experience.
• MA Certificate or AA in Medical Assisting, EMT, PCT, nursing student with clinical rotation, or PA program candidates.
• Must demonstrate strong customer and interpersonal relationships with patients, families, staff and providers.
• Must show willingness and competency to train, mentor, and guide others.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train Medical Assistants, externs, and non-licensed staff within assigned practices.
• Lead daily office operations; act as liaison with Practice Manager and other staff.
• Ensure effective patient flow and access by coordinating with physicians and nursing staff.
• Assist with exams and procedures; document in Epic per protocol.
• Prepare patients for visits, greet them professionally, and verify identities.
• Manage scheduling of outside tests, referrals, and follow-up activities.
