Job summary

Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. seeks an experienced Medical Assistant Lead for our 104 Endicott St, Danvers, MA site. The role oversees 12 MAs, coordinates daily schedules, and supports new workflows while ensuring clear communication across the team.

You will supervise MA staff, participate in screening and vaccine coordination, and assist with patient rooming as needed. Prior MA leadership and primary care experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant - required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in complex office-based procedures and provide clinical oversight for quality control programs.
• Provide leadership to the medical assisting team, including training, mentoring, and performance guidance.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring proper workload distribution and effective utilization of resources.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
• Coordinate patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.
• Assist with patient intake, including obtaining medical history and vital signs; prepare patients for examination.
• Participate in interview process for new MAs and serve as a preceptor for new hires; create coverage schedules.
• Assist with competency assessment and contribute to performance evaluations.
