Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides functional guidance to Medical Assistants based on current work flows.
• Covers clinical offices based on operational need.
• Assists in examination of patients under physician direction.
• Maintain smooth patient flow with accurate assessment and scheduling tests.
• Act as intermediary between physician and patients to optimize physician time.
• Prepare patients: vital signs, charting, consent information.
• Demonstrates sterile technique and safe procedures.
• Prepare treatment room and assist physician with procedures.
• Administer prescribed medication per policy and document.
• Perform EKG, pulse oximetry, inhalation treatments.
• Complete documentation and ensure orders carried out; manage charts.
• Inventory and order medical supplies; discard expired items.
• Support nursing policies and Riverside Medical Clinic procedures.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
