Responsibilities

• Provide functional guidance to Medical Assistants and support clinical offices.
• Assist in examinations under physician direction and ensure proper scheduling of tests.
• Collect patient data, document accurately, and ensure chart is up to date.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document time, dosage, and route.
• Perform EKG, pulse oximetry, inhalation treatments, and operate relevant equipment as certified.
• Prepare treatment rooms, assist physicians, and maintain sterile techniques.
• Maintain medical records and ensure physician orders are carried out.
• Inventory and order medical supplies; discard expired samples and supplies.
