Zeenath Masood MD Inc - Family Practice in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to join our team and assume a supervisory role. You will oversee daily clinical operations, mentor a team of medical assistants, and support the physician with exams, patient care, and administrative tasks in a busy family practice.

Bilingual English/Spanish required; CMA or RMA preferred. Proficiency with EHR, strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Prior medical assistant experience, preferably in a family practice or primary care setting.
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily clinical operations and mentor a team of medical assistants.
• Room patients, record vital signs, and document chief complaints in the EHR.
• Assist the physician with examinations, procedures, and patient care as directed.
• Manage patient flow to ensure efficient scheduling and minimal wait times.
• Administer injections, and process lab specimens.
• Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription refill requests.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked, cleaned, and compliant with infection control standards.
• Serve as a point of contact for staff questions, training, and quality assurance.
• Check in patients, insurance verification, setting up appointments and managing phone lines.
