Zeenath Masood MD Inc - Family Practice in Anaheim, CA is seeking a dedicated Lead Medical Assistant to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced clinic. You will mentor a team, oversee daily operations, and assist with exams and patient care while ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate documentation in the EHR.

Requirements include CMA or RMA certification, prior lead experience, strong clinical skills, and bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and mentor a team of medical assistants.
• Room patients, record vitals and document chief complaints in the EHR.
• Assist physician with examinations, procedures and patient care.
• Manage patient flow and scheduling to minimize wait times.
• Administer injections and process lab specimens.
• Handle prior authorizations, referrals and prescription refills.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and infection control standards met.
• Support staff questions, training and quality assurance.
• Check in patients, verify insurance and manage appointments and phone lines

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily clinical operations, supporting and mentoring a team of medical assistants
• Room patients, record vital signs, and document chief complaints accurately in the EHR system
• Assist the physician with examinations, procedures, and patient care as directed
• Manage patient flow to ensure efficient scheduling and minimal wait times
• Administer injections, and process lab specimens
• Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription refill requests
• Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked, cleaned, and compliant with infection control standards
• Serve as a point of contact for staff questions, training, and quality assurance
• Check in patients, insurance verification, setting up appointments managing phone lines

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) preferred
• Prior medical assistant experience, preferably in a family practice or primary care setting
• Prior lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Strong vital signs, and clinical skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
