Job summary

Summit Spine & Joint Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant leader to oversee day-to-day operations and train staff across our region 5 clinic locations, including Covington. The role requires coordinating with providers, reception, lab collectors, and assistants to ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced practice.

The ideal candidate will be able to problem-solve, multitask, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience using EClinical Works or other EMR systems preferred.
• 1-year clinical experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct morning huddles.
• Enter injection orders and ensure they reach ECW.
• Train new Medical Assistants when applicable.
• Manage multi-room workflows and back-office tasks.
• Assist patients with questions and address concerns.
• Monitor office flow and report back-office misconduct.
• Assist with DME inventory.
• Discharge noncompliant patients per provider requests.
