Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Lead, Care Promoter who will perform Medical Assistant duties and supervise non-licensed staff. The role acts as liaison between management and staff, delivering patient care per physician orders and ensuring smooth center operations.

The candidate must have MA certification, 5+ years MA experience, BLS, and EMR familiarity. The position requires leadership, great communication, and the ability to travel locally regionally up to 20%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program and MA certification required.
• Minimum 5 years Medical Assistant experience in hospital or clinic setting.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EMR system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads Care Promoters and other clinical staff, ensuring task accuracy.
• Monitors team performance and provides feedback to Center leaders.
• Manages and monitors staff schedules.
• Provides medical assistant care following standards.
• Prepares exam rooms and ensures tools are ready.
• Assists physicians in ambulatory settings.
• Coordinates lab specimen handling and deliveries.
• Maintains patient records and post-visit charges.
• Addresses customer-service issues and flow of patients.
