Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as MA, PCT, EMT or Paramedic.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and history.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP and team.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with procedures.
• Perform non-critical medical procedures per physician instructions.
• Collect phlebotomy and basic waived lab tests.
• Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and OSHA safety standards.
• Process patient messages and coordinate with team.
• Call in prescriptions to the pharmacy when authorized.
• Provide health coaching to defined patient groups.
• Travel locally up to 10% to cover other centers.
