Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Care Promoter 1 to support our physician-led care teams. The role crosses administrative and clinical tasks to keep centers running smoothly, with supervision and a focus on high-quality, compassionate care for seniors.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, coaching on healthy lifestyles, and coordinating with clinicians. A Medical Assistant background and BLS are required, with local travel up to 10% possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training required.
• At least 1 year of MA/Patient Care Technician experience or clinical rotation accepted.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records patient vital signs.
• Records patient interview and medical history.
• Prepares patients for examinations and assists physician with exams.
• Collects phlebotomy and other lab specimens; performs basic waived lab tests.
• Provides health coaching to a defined group of patients; follows up weekly.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
