Job summary

ChenMed is expanding and seeks a Care Promoter 1 to support both administrative and clinical tasks under physician supervision. The role is integral to a Physician-led Care Team dedicated to high-quality primary care for seniors.

You will handle vitals, patient communications, and medication support while maintaining compliance with safety standards. You must have a Medical Assistant program diploma and BLS certification, with at least 1 year in a clinical setting or equivalent rotations.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with compassion and empathy.
• Strong oral and written communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and staff across centers.
• Understanding of medical terminology and documentation standards.
• Experience with EMR systems and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vitals and medical history.
• Assist physicians during exams and with treatment instructions.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures to patients.
• Perform routine screening tests and collect lab specimens.
• Administer medications under physician supervision and manage basic dressings.
