Hillsboro Medical Center is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to ensure high-quality patient care. The role covers both front and back office tasks, mentoring staff, coordinating workflow, and supporting physicians within a clinical setting.

The Lead MA will train teammates, manage scheduling, document patient data in the EMR, and participate in process improvements to enhance clinic efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Trains and mentors Clinical Assistants and Medical Assistants.
• Assists with scheduling Clinical/Medical Assistants.
• Coordinates day-to-day workflow to support efficient clinic operations.
• Participates in quality and process improvement initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Assists patients to exam rooms and documents chief complaints.
• Documents vital signs and other data in EMR.
• Communicates lab and x-ray results to patients and health team.
• Obtains specimens and performs basic laboratory work.
