Job description

What You'll Do

Provide day-to-day care and supervision of Medical Assistants in a clinical setting at our main hospital campus. The Medical Assistant provides direct professional medical care to patients and also serves as a leader and professional role model to department members at all times.

  • Collaborate with the clinic manager, assisting with onboarding new MA staff as well as ongoing education to all MA staff, identifying needs and recommending training.
  • Participate in quality initiatives and process changes, ensuring MA staff understand and can accurately collect data.
  • Assist with the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
  • Work in all provider pods as staffing needs dictate.
  • Attend meetings as necessary.
  • Complete various special projects as assigned.
  • Monitor the delivery of patient services for effectiveness, efficiency, and clinical excellence.
  • Perform Medical Assistant duties, including assisting in all aspects of medical practice under physician supervision, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, drawing and collecting blood samples, administering immunizations, recording or inputting information into patients' medical records, and other general patient care activities.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

What We Offer

  • $22.00 - $30.00, dependent on experience.
