Job description

What You'll Do

Provide day-to-day care and supervision of Medical Assistants in a clinical setting at our main hospital campus. The Medical Assistant provides direct professional medical care to patients and also serves as a leader and professional role model to department members at all times.

  • Collaborate with the clinic manager, assist with onboarding new MA staff, and provide ongoing education to all MA staff, identifying needs and recommending training.
  • Participate in quality initiatives and process changes, ensuring MA staff understand and can accurately collect data.
  • Assist with the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
  • Work in all provider pods as staffing needs dictate.
  • Attend meetings as necessary.
  • Complete various special projects as assigned.
  • Monitor delivery of patient services for effectiveness, efficiency, and clinical excellence.
  • Perform Medical Assistant duties, including assisting in all aspects of medical practice under a physician's guidance, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, drawing and collecting blood samples, administering immunizations, recording or inputting information into medical records, and other general patient care activities.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

What We Offer

  • $22.00 - $30.00, dependent on experience.
