Job summary

Nammo Energetics seeks an experienced Equipment Engineer to own full-cycle development of automated production machinery for its Perry, FL facility, with initial production planned for 2027.

You will design, qualify, and sustain fixtures, tooling, and machines, travel to Raufoss, Norway within 12–18 months, and coordinate with Quality, Process Engineering, and operations to meet strict safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or 15+ years equivalent experience.
• Strong 3D CAD expertise and design of automated machinery.
• Ability to read schematics for mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end equipment development from concept to startup.
• Engineer and validate fixtures, tooling, and secondary machines to meet customer specs.
• Diagnose and improve hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems for yield and throughput.
• Prepare detailed procurement scopes with Quality, Process Engineering, and operations.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs; follow manufacturer instructions and internal procedures.
• Estimate tooling costs and manage vendor relationships through the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and support maintenance teams.
• Model safety, environmental stewardship, and housekeeping best practices.
