Job summary

Nammo Energetics Inc. in Perry, Florida is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to develop and support the automation systems powering our new solid rocket motor manufacturing facility. You will work hands-on with automated production equipment and collaborate with international teams, including Norway, to enable a ground-floor expansion planned for 2027.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 3+ years in industrial automation. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
3+ years of experience supporting industrial automation or manufacturing controls systems.
Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
In-depth understanding of electrical schematics, control panels, and industrial automation systems.
Experience working with PLCs and HMIs.

Responsibilities

Develop & support automation systems for manufacturing operations.
Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-controlled equipment.
Support automated and semi-automated production systems.
Assist with HMI development, machine integration, and controls troubleshooting.
Identify opportunities to improve reliability, throughput, efficiency, and safety.
Support commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for controls-related issues.
