Salary Range: $88,400 - $140,000

Work Location Category: Hybrid Fixed

Hybrid flexible: Roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.
  4. Fully remote: Roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary

Provide technical expertise in the identification, investigation, and resolution of plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure plant reliability and availability.

Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor, trend and assess systems and components to improve reliability.
  • Establish system performance for designated systems. Identify and prioritize corrective actions to ensure system safety, reliability, and availability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage/resolve long term system performance issues.
  • Ensure system readiness and compliance with design/license basis.
Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Aerospace Engineering or related technical degree.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related industry experience.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiar with mechanical engineering concepts and operations.
  • Will need to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities and adaptive ways of doing business.
  • Available for Shift Work. Must meet Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
  • A valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation is required for this job.

Desired:

  • Greater than seven years of experience in Nuclear Power Plant Engineering.
  • SRO license/certification or System Engineering.
  • MS or PE.
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years of experience.
