Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in Texas to lead construction initiatives from planning through completion. You will oversee documentation, budgets, scheduling, permits, and subcontractor management, ensuring profitability and timely delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, superb communication, and a track record of managing complex projects in collaboration with field teams. On-site environment with high accountability and safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or degree in Building Science or related field.
• PMP/CCM certification would be asset.
• Design/Build experience is a plus.
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR Training.
• Extensive budget management for construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
• Highly organized with leadership experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
• Understanding of construction management processes.
• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.

Responsibilities

• Development and management of all project documentation.
• Schedule and lead project hand-off meetings to ensure information gathering before construction.
• Prepare construction budgets by studying plans and specs; project costs and budgets.
• Obtain appropriate permits.
• Finalize Schedule of Values for owner billing.
• Build and actively manage the project schedule with field supervisors.
• Prepare monthly project billing and invoices.
• Collaboratively price and formalize changes in project scope.
• Ensure client satisfaction balancing scope, time, and cost.
• Manage safety, quality, and productivity of the project.
