Job summary

Skillforce is seeking a Mechanical Pipe Foreman for projects in the DMV area. This full-time, direct-hire role directs field operations for mechanical construction and serves as the main contact for the crew.

Expect coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, and daily assignments with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, productivity, and schedule. The position supports a crew of 3–8, requires interpreting drawings and P&IDs, and ensuring work aligns with specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical, piping, or pipefitting crews in industrial environments.
• Ability to supervise 3–8 employees and coordinate daily field activities.
• Strong understanding of mechanical piping installation and fabrication practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical craft personnel throughout daily construction activities.
• Assign tasks and establish priorities to maintain productivity and schedule.
• Review drawings, P&IDs, specs, and installation details prior to work.
