Job summary

Methuen Construction is a leading self-performing general contractor with over 65 years of experience in heavy civil and industrial facilities on the Northeast. The Mechanical Foreman will supervise trades, equipment, and materials, reporting to the Superintendent, and will mentor the next generation of professionals on site.

This full-time, hourly, non-exempt role requires a strong safety record, ability to read drawings and specifications, and hands-on leadership to keep projects on schedule

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial construction experience.
• Current licenses applicable to the trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicable hydraulic equipment operation and/or hoisting licenses, desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and enforce safety on mechanical systems installation.
• Oversee piping system installation incl. flanged, grooved, welded joints.
• Supervise assembly of industrial equipment incl. bolting, welding, machining.
• Provide accurate layout and measurements from benchmarks.
• Review job cost and labor production reports for accuracy.
• Enforce the corporate quality control program.
