Job summary

Methuen Construction is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to safely and efficiently manage trades, equipment, and materials and to mentor the next generation of professionals. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role reports to the Superintendent.

The position requires strong knowledge of mechanical installations, piping systems, and rigging, with travel limited to local Northeast projects. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial construction experience.
• Current licenses applicable to the trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hydraulic equipment operation/hoisting licenses desirable.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of general construction disciplines with focus on mechanical systems and rigging.
• Plan, layout and execute piping system installations (flanged, grooved, welded, glued, etc.).
• Assemble and install industrial machinery and equipment (bolting, welding, machining).
• Provide accurate layout and measurements for mechanical systems from benchmarks.
