Job summary

HB Global seeks an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead and supervise mechanical teams on plumbing and mechanical projects. You will ensure efficient, high-quality installations, maintenance, and repairs while upholding safety standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, coordinating daily work, reading blueprints, overseeing HVAC and piping systems, and enforcing safety policies on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical trades, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Expertise in HVAC, piping and other mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with mechanical work.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping and communication.
• Problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of mechanical technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily mechanical work activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate and compliant installations.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed work to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Order and manage materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper inventory control.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and team progress.
• Collaborate with project managers, other foremen, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures on job sites.
• Identify and resolve potential issues and conflicts that may arise during project execution.
