Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) in Blacksburg, VA, is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to lead field crews on commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects. You’ll supervise crews, plan daily work, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical construction experience.
• Experience leading foremen or lead mechanics on field projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, or related systems.
• Commitment to safety and quality on busy job sites.
• Willingness to obtain OSHA 30 if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical crews performing commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related installations.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain productivity.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Superintendent, project team, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Track daily production and report progress to management.
• Promote and enforce VMG safety policies and project safety procedures.
• Mentor and develop crew members to strengthen field skills.
