Job summary

SEH is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Colorado to lead projects from concept through construction, delivering HVAC and plumbing designs with strong client coordination. The role emphasizes independent work, collaboration with design teams, and producing robust construction documents in Revit.

This growth-focused position offers potential to advance into a Project Manager and people-leader role as skills develop, within SEH's West Region team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Colorado licensure preferred or able to obtain by comity soon after hire.
• Demonstrated ability to run projects independently and deliver complete HVAC and plumbing designs.
• Strong consulting experience designing to ASHRAE and relevant codes.
• Revit proficiency is required; experience producing construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects independently and serve as the mechanical lead from concept through construction.
• Scope work, engage clients, and coordinate with design teams.
• Produce complete construction documents in Revit and support construction administration.
• Grow into a Project Manager and people leader as skills align.
