Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in the ACME division is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design for standard and custom transformers up to 1250 KVA. The role collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Sales to ensure orders are produced correctly and on time.

Responsibilities include creating development and production drawings in SolidWorks, managing Bills of Materials in SAP, and updating engineering documentation while traveling to customer sites as

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• Experience in transformer industry or related field.
• 8+ years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for new products and improvements to maintain cost position.
• Interface with manufacturing team to resolve production issues.
• Travel as necessary to customer sites, meetings, conferences, etc.
• Create development and production drawings in SolidWorks.
• Create Bills of Material and Routings for products within SAP.
• Update Engineering documentation.
