The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, adherence to development processes, and delivering with quality and on schedule. Ideal candidates will bring 10+ years in mechanical engineering, strong skills in 3D modeling, FEA, and experience with offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in design, manufacture and service of highly automated electromechanical systems.
• Strong decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with offshore teams and capital equipment design is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and innovative solutions for ion implanters and monitor progress.
• Adhere to development process including planning, reviews, verification and validation.
• Coordinate with program engineers and offshore teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Communicate project status to customers and cross-functional groups.
• Ensure products meet customer requirements, safety, SEMI and spec.
• Manage mechanical lifecycle for new and legacy products with project managers.
• Troubleshoot system-level problems, find root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Knowledge of controls and electrical systems is helpful.
