Re:Build Manufacturing in Wilmington, MA, is seeking a mechanical engineering team leader to mentor engineers and drive product development from concept through production.

You will coach 3–15 engineers, tackle tough technical problems, and contribute to project proposals, budgets, and staffing decisions while collaborating with a cross-functional team of scientists and designers. The role offers a competitive salary with incentives and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Broad technical background and a desire to learn more.
• Experience in consulting.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentorship/coaching.
• 3D CAD experience (Solidworks preferred).
• Experience with a range of manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, sheet metal, casting, etc.)
• Experience designing biomedical or automation products a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor mechanical engineering teams on product development.
• Support day-to-day design work and tackle tough technical problems.
• Coach on project management, proposals, and budget reviews.
• Manage 3–15 engineers depending on team size and scope.
