Job summary

Arion Blue is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership across projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality mechanical designs. You will oversee equipment selection, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with vendors, clients, and interdisciplinary teams.

You will review vendor documentation, perform technical analyses, and support fabrication, inspection, commissioning, and field troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of heat transfer/pressure vessel or rotating machinery design experience in EPC environments.
• Strong knowledge of ASME VIII, API, ANSI, ISO, BS standards; ability to read and interpret codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, specification, and procurement of pressure vessels and rotating equipment for oil & gas and energy projects.
• Prepare and review mechanical equipment specs, datasheets, requisitions, and bid evaluations.
• Perform technical evaluation and supplier bid clarifications; produce reports to support orders.
