Job summary

Eden seeks a senior mechanical/ electro‑mechanical engineer to drive the design of next‑generation downhole stimulation and energy delivery systems. You will work across mechanical, electrical, and geoscience teams to deliver robust, safe, and reliable hardware for high temperature and high pressure environments.

The role requires hands‑on engineering leadership, strong CAD/FEA skills, and a track record in field deployments and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical, Electro‑Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
• 7+ years designing and validating mechanical or structural systems in energy/utilities/industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and electro‑mechanical design of Eden's downhole stimulation and energy delivery systems at HPHT (>300°C, >10,000 psi).
• Architect structural systems around electrical assemblies for reliable integration under thermal/pressure constraints.
• Perform FEA/CFD modeling for stress, vibration, fatigue, and heat transfer in HPHT environments.
• Design and qualify pressure vessels, housings, and enclosures to ASME/ISO standards.
• Manage a small multidisciplinary team; mentor junior staff and set priorities.
