Eden GeoPower Inc. seeks a senior mechanical engineer to lead the design of next-generation downhole stimulation and energy-delivery systems. The role requires hands-on expertise in high-temperature and high-pressure environments and strong collaboration with electrical teams.

You will guide a small, multidisciplinary group, drive prototypes, and ensure manufacturability with vendors and partners while delivering high-integrity designs for field deployment.

Formación

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Materials Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of industry experience designing and validating mechanical or structural systems in energy/utilities/industrial equipment.
• Proven leadership and project ownership with cross-functional supervision.
• Experience with SolidWorks, ANSYS, and COMSOL for structural and thermal simulations.
• Expertise in pressure-vessel design, HPHT materials, seals, and fatigue-life assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical and electro-mechanical design of Eden’s downhole stimulation and energy-delivery systems for HPHT operation.
• Architect structural and mechanical systems around electrical assemblies for reliable integration.
• Perform FEA/CFD modeling for stress, vibration, fatigue, and heat transfer in cyclic HPHT environments.
• Design and qualify pressure vessels, housings, and protective enclosures to ASME/ISO standards.
• Manage a small multidisciplinary team; set priorities, review designs, and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with electrical and power-electronics teams for electro-mechanical performance and thermal management.
• Engage vendors and fabrication partners to ensure manufacturability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply Lean / Six Sigma to improve design, assembly, and test efficiency.
• Drive prototype builds from concept to lab validation and field deployment; lead design reviews and milestones.
• Support field mobilizations: configure, commission, and troubleshoot mechanical systems (travel 10–20%).
