L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Mechanical Engineering in Rochester, NY. This leadership role focuses on managing large ground-based satellite communication mechanical systems projects, from concept through to design qualification and production release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related disciplines from an ABET Accredited program and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• 4 years experience with mechanical detailed design and new product development, manufacturing processes, and CAD modeling.

Responsabilités

• Manage large projects from scheduling to financials and BOEs for multimillion-dollar RFIs/RFQs.
• Create presentations for VP and Director level personnel.
• Lead small cross-functional teams of engineers and designers.
• Oversee vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for mechanical integration and specifications.
