Job summary

EControls is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in the United States to lead the mechanical and electro-mechanical product development lifecycle. You will drive design analysis, validation planning, and cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, manufacturing engineering, sales, and quality to ensure robust designs and proper validation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• MS in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and engineering analysis tools (FEA/CFD).

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for new product development through phase gate process.
• Lead design analysis, design reviews, DFMEAs and PFMEAs.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and quality to develop and support products.
• Interact with customers and suppliers on technical topics.
• Estimate cost and development timeline with Program Manager.
• Develop and write design validation test specifications and coordinate lab validation.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and drafters.
