Job summary

Techtronic Industries in Anderson seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join the Advanced Engineering team. You will lead mechanical feasibility and develop integrated systems through analysis, prototyping, and testing.

You will build prototypes, define test plans, and collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Industrial Design to balance performance and manufacturability. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on CAD experience are required; embedded electronics exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or related engineering; advanced degree a plus.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and GD&T.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on attitude.
• Experience building prototypes and defining test plans.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience with measurement equipment a plus; embedded electronics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical feasibility, performance validation, and risk reduction for advanced projects.
• Develop and evaluate mechanisms, structures, and integrated systems using analysis and testing.
• Translate concepts into mature designs ready for product development.
• Build, test, and iterate prototypes to validate durability and manufacturability.
• Define system requirements, operation methods, and design trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Design, and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
