Bart & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Lead Designer to join our on-site team in Madison, AL. The role focuses on designing and integrating electronic suites for industrial and DoD use, using CAD/CAM/PLM tools to generate detailed drawings and 3D models.

Collaboration with engineering, production, and customer teams is essential to deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and at least 4 years of direct

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• A minimum of 4 years direct experience in mechanical design.
• Experience using CAD: Solid Edge, SolidWorks, or similar.
• This is an on-site position.
• Ability to obtain security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed product models/drawings for new parts and assemblies.
• Prepare engineering BOMs for production.
• Maintain and reconcile revisions across drawings and models.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing for 3D models and drawings.
• Lead environmental qualification testing when required.
